Issue 71 Qdrant similarity-index closeout

Status: complete. Delivered on 2026-08-26 in a67c6a8a78d4125c37728c1e5ba9f92142f83f23 (Closes: #71). All recorded phases and slices are complete.

Delivered authenticated server-mode Qdrant as a non-authoritative candidate index, with typed provenance, remote lifecycle/ownership checks, version/schema, installer/bundle integration, package tests and installed-wheel rehearsal. Durable vectors remain owned by vector stores; remote candidate collections are rebuildable artifacts.

Current contracts are in ADR-032 and storage backends.

Delivery reconciliation and verification limit

The 2026-10-03 reconciliation corrected stale Phase 15 and Slices 5–7 statuses against the delivered commit and recorded Phase 9–14 evidence. Local main, origin/main and the then-current experiment branch contained that commit; this was local ancestry evidence, not a fresh remote fetch or issue-state check.

The delivery record includes repository, strict documentation, catalog/lock, package, installed-wheel, index and audit validation. Live-server interoperability remains unverified. Fake-client tests and historical release checks do not constitute a live Qdrant qualification.
